Holy Communion is celebrated at all worship services. Communion is offered to all baptised Christians who believe that Jesus gives his body and blood with the bread and wine, and who wish to receive forgiveness of sins and a life in Christ Jesus.
Participation in Worship
Singers leading worship. We value the participation of people in worship at St Johns, including preparing the worship centre for services, welcoming people, reading lessons, singing and assisting the Pastors with leading the worship services.
Children in Worship
Children are welcomed as a vital part of the St Johns community and worship life, and are regular participants on our worship services. We believe that children should play an active and creative role within the life of the congregation.
Music
Music and singing feature prominently in our worship services.
9am worship features an organ in the Baroque style, built by Melbourne organ builder Knud Smenge. Traditional hymns and liturgy are a regular part of 9am worship and Bach Cantatas are included in the service several times each year.
